Ajuria Lawyers supports Biophilia

Visitors to our office in Aurora Place often compliment us on our “green” work environment!

Lillian leads the way on this initiative, having read a NASA study many years ago on the air purification benefits of being surrounded by greenery.

BeyondBlue is one of a number of organisations that promotes the health benefits of indoor plants in the work environment, a place where the WHO reports we spend one third of our working life.

A UK study found that productivity increased by 15% when plants were added to the office, with employees also reporting an increase in concentration and workplace satisfaction.

So what does this have to do with Biophilia? This is the connection people feel with nature and their need to be closely connected with it. It is not just a human want, but a human need, and we are happy to support this!
