In late August 2018, the Hon Peter Dutton, Minister of Home Affairs and the Hon Ahmed Hussen, Canada’s Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship announced an agreement to increase the age limit to 35 years for the Working Holiday program between Australia and Canada.
For other countries, the age limit remains 30 years until Governments of both countries agree to increase it.
