The recent changes to the work visa program have brought some additional benefits for Business Sponsors with Accredited Status.
In addition to priority processing and a concession in relation to police check documentation, certain nominations lodged by accredited sponsors now receive automatic approval.
To be automatically approved, the nominated position must meet certain pre-defined requirements, relating to ANZSCO occupational classifications and salaries. Should the position not meet these requirements, the application will still continue to receive priority processing. More than ever, applications need to be full and complete at the time of lodgement in order to derive maximum benefit from accredited sponsorship status.
